Carnivore Ramen with Egg White Noodles

Writer's picture: Richelle LecourtRichelle Lecourt

Since our weather has been a bit bi-polar, I have found soups to be comforting and soothing while the temperatures soar and dip and do-si-do. I was feeling inspired by my sweet friend and fellow carnivore Courtney Luna and her fabulous recipe book (you NEED a copy and can get it here!). She has a recipe for Carnivore Ramen in there and while I did not follow her recipe, it was the inspiration behind this simple soup combo!

Carnivore Ramen with Egg White Noodles

This gorgeous soup starts with a beautiful, nutrient dense beef bone broth (you can make yours homemade or buy one at your local grocery store), then I added in some cooked ground beef, some soft boiled eggs and the egg white noodles. You can season, salt and add sauces to your liking but this soup as it stands was PERFECT!

Supplies:

  • pot and pan (if you haven't cooked your meat yet)

  • bowls

  • spoons and a knife

Ingredients for a single serving (easily double, triple or quadruple)

Instructions:

  1. If you aren't using leftover meat, go ahead and cook your meat of choice.

  2. In a pot, add your soup broth and begin to heat it up over medium/high heat and bring to a gentle boil.

  3. Add your meat, halved boiled eggs and noodles to your bowl. Season as desired if seasoning or if you haven't yet.

  4. Pour the hot broth over the contents of the bowl - it warms up the meat, the noodles and the eggs.

  5. Serve and enjoy!
