I have been so excited to share this exclusive Carnivore Crack Dip recipe with you all and I just couldn't wait any longer!!
A little history on this dip - if you know me, you know I love to dip things! I love to dip egg yolks, mayo, sauces, butter and this dip! We had some non-carnivore friends over (YES! It is TOTALLY possible to entertain non-carnivores - we do it all the time!) for dinner and I threw this dip together and it blew them away! Now every time we are invited for dinner, they ask us to bring "that dip" which means making a double batch to leave behind for our friends to savour and enjoy!
This is an easy dip recipe with few ingredients (most of which you likely have on hand) that comes together bursting with savoury flavours! Most recipes call for this dip to be cold, but lemme tell you friend, if you want to WOW your taste buds AND your friends, serve it warm! It does not disappoint!
Note: If you are strict carnivore, don't fret! I have made this three ways: with the ranch dip mix, without a ranch dip mix AND, with herbs from my spice cabinet and ALL of them are delicious!! This recipe also easily doubles!
Ingredients
1x 8ox package of cream cheese, softened
1 cup sour cream (full fat is the best!)
4-5 strips of cooked bacon, chopped up
1 x Pouch of Ranch Seasoning Mix (any mix that you like, omit if strict carnivore)
3/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese (you can use any cheese you like - we love extra sharp cheddar!)
Carnivore Crisps - for dipping! (10% off here with CODE REALLIFECARNIVORE)
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350F.
In a large bowl, add cream cheese and sour cream.
Beat with a hand mixer until smooth.
Add ranch/seasoning mix (omit if strict carnivore) and mix with hand blender until well combined, scraping the sides of the bowl as needed.
Add 1/2 of your cheese to the mix and half of your bacon. Stir to combine.
Top with remaining cheese and bacon.
Pour/scrape into a baking dish (I used a pie plate) and bake for 20min @ 350F.
Remove and serve hot with CARNIVORE CRISPS! Alternatively, serve cold. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 7 days.
